Becoming a podiatrist requires an understanding of the clinical and theoretical foundations of musculoskeletal conditions that impact on the function of the lower extremity. This subject aims to develop your podiatric knowledge and skills needed to manage patients with musculoskeletal disorders. This subject further aims to develop your knowledge and clinical application of diagnostic techniques (i.e. x-ray, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, computer tomography and bone scans).
